Tryouts are Saturday, 6/7/25 from 8AM-10AM and Sunday, 6/2/25 from 8AM-10AM at the Maplewood Community Pool. You must choose a time within one of these days to tryout.
You do not need to stay for the entire time or arrive at 8am. Tryouts are run on a drop-in basis, so your child will swim and be evaluated and can then leave. Depending on how crowded it is, this should take roughly 15-30 minutes per person.

What is the tryout criteria?
8 and under: two laps of freestyle and one lap of any other competitive stroke
9 and 10: two laps of freestyle and one lap of two other competitive strokes
11 and 12: dive, three laps of freestyle and two laps of two other competitive strokes
13 and up: dive, 100 yd. freestyle and 100 yd. individual medley.

You must be a member of the Maplewood Community Pool to sign up for the swim team. To become a pool member please visit the memberships tab to sign up for a membership. any non-members will be removed from the roster.
